Goo paintings begin with enamel on aluminum or copper panels. Some refer to William Morris wallpaper, others to 16th c. Dutch paintings. I made a secondary series of small gouache paintings by sectioning off 1" squares of the enamel paintings and rendering them as trompe l'oeil abstractions.
