dance
tinker bell’s proximity to prayer
thrifting the store for a vintage sound
spilling a drop of minute waltz -
one more catch of swoop and dance
responsible for swoon and reeling
careening to the clap of a finger snap -
good lord she said help
me and madonnas of gloom and grit
hallelujah is not mine to hoard
